PDQs and timescales

Hello,

I know that Visa have set their deadline for the replacement of old PED devices as being the first of July 2010, as per their documentation, however I'm struggling to find any official statement from other PCI members that definitively says they are recognising this date. There's this press release floating about from Tuesday the 11th discussing PCI and PEDs, but it doesn't mention dates. Are they all definitely sticking with Visa's old date of July 1st 2010?

If you are asking about a 'sunset date' when all devices that have not been approved to the PCI PED requirements must be removed from the field - I do not believe that such a date currently exists. However, there is the potential for everything to change now that control of the program has been passed to PCI SSC.
