5.2.4 Use of Live PANs for Testing

Per 5.2.4 Visa states that a Live CC used for testing must be Sanitized. What is meant by "sanitized"?

Render the PAN field contents unusable for an actual payment.

e.g mask the PAN field with, say zeros, such that no more than first 6, last 4 digits remain untouched.

You also need to 'sanitize' any track data that your application may be also testing with. That means encrypting or masking the CVC2 or any other track data that you may capture as part of your testing.
