I have a client that is a document management company. They service an insurance company for document archiving. The document management company needs PCI compliance and VISA SDP/CISP compliance at the request of the insurance carrier. The document management company is considered a service provider.

Can ayone tell me what process I need to go through to setup the document management company with the insurance company as sponsor/agent? I am looking for any comments or information, and web links to accomplish this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure how much help this will be, but a starting point may be for your client to contact PRISM at www.prismintl.org.

PRISM is the trade association for records management companies. They should be able to provide some guidance.
