I am currently looking into scanning our entire estate for card holder data using the Luhn check algorithm. This is to make sure we can prove our assumption of which servers/backups/logs are in scope or out.
Since we only host the environments for our customers we have no way of knowing how the applications work (except for our customers explanations). But they sure have problems to map the things their applications do to our hosted estate.
So we have permission to do the scans and are now looking for commercial software that does that (so we don't have to write the scripts ourselves). Does anyone have a recommendation on a software we could use?
