our company is having a hard figuring out comply with requirements for password length, aging requirements. The system requires the Customer service rep to log on at each transaction. If the use 7 character complex passwords it will affect the customer experience. Also with high turn over and inconsistent work times. CSR can come in ever other week.

We have had similar issues with a number of the companies that we have worked with who have CSR units with employees that are on various schedules or who frankly come and go. The best solution set that we have found is that there is an ADMIN override that becomes effective based upon the amount of time that a specific user is on the system.

If , for example a user (CSR) does not show up for a period of time then the ADMIN override will remove the password form the system and require that a new password be set by the specific user for access.
