PCI Releases Updated PED Requirements

PCI have released updated versions of the POS PED and EPP requirements, bringing these requirements to v2.1. The changes are mostly cosmetic, with a number of typographic errors fixed, and changes to the wording of some of the requirements to ensure that the intent is clear. No additional requirements have been made, and no significant changes have been made to any of the existing requirements.

Hi!

As this new version V2.1 is a “cosmetic” version, I suppose that PCI will not prepare a new DTRs release with new tests. Is that correct?

There are new DTRs, but they also do not have a lot of changes in them. However, if you are involved in PED manufacturing, I would still request the new DTRs, just for completeness.
