SAQ C clarification

i noticed on SAQ C V 1.2 for example 12.5 and 12.5.3 are included. Does that mean that the rest of 12.5 is not needed and can be disregarded. Also if 12.6 is required but 12.6.1 and 12.6.2 are not listed separately does that mean just 12.6 is required and we don't have to do yearly training.

I'm a little confused. Any help would be appreciated.

You are correct in your interpretation. The SAQs are subsets of the full Security Assessment Procedures based on the SAQ's audience.
