The PCI HSM and PCI UPT requirements have been released at ETA this week, and can now be tested against suitable products by PCI PED approved labs.
PCI UPT is for Unattended Payment Terminals - devices into which you would enter your PIN without the supervision of a clerk or POS operator. Examples would be ticketing machines, kiosks, vending machines, etc.
PCI HSM is for Hardware Security Modules - devices that manage the cryptographic keys used in PIN based transactions.
